Care the People is an International non-profit-making association.
The association counts doctors, health workers, educators and is open to all other professions and to all those who wish to be useful to its mission and are willing to share its aims.
It was founded in 2002 by a group of friends who shared the same idea and the same dream.
Care the People operates only in Vietnam, in Danang.

Our association is open to everyone, regardless of the religious or political creed, because we believe that our richness is made up by all those who take part in our work, exchanging ideas among themselves, and are drawn together by the desire to contribute to the dignity of man.

In the respect of man’s universal rights, of his value as a human being and of his freedom, we commit to remain neutral from every political and religious power to share a path of reliability, research and welfare work. We accept support only if this is not in contrast with our principles and our ideal of union in solidarity.

The presence of our operators in the area and the "reduced dimension of the interventions" give us the possibility to listen and meet the problems of the poorer.
The small dimension allows us to economize on high management costs and to avoid the enormous bureaucratic mechanisms that highly reduce the efficiency of the interventions of large organizations may these be governmental or private.

We therefore operate only in Vietnam.

We have no expensive offices and officers to support.

In the jungle of the relief agencies, Care the People has its own precise and verifiable action approach, based on the experience of its founders.

Our projects are not planned and carried out on the basis of funding, but according to the needs of the people.
Our interventions are appropriate, sustainable and long-term.
Our vocation is to sustain the development of the country in which we operate.

These are our guidelines:

• We do not carry out a project without knowing full well the local reality
• We do no start a project which is not required
• We do not export contextual models of social reality.
• We do not impose our values
• We do not donate material that is not useful to us and to the society in which we operate

WE PRIVILEGE THE FOLLOWING ACTION AREAS:

• health
• childhood
• information: professional training suitable to the local technological and social level;
• production of facilities aimed at favouring the solution of major problems such as hygiene, food, supportive commerce and buying necessaries;
• the accomplishment of micro credit programs, which are an important instrument to help the financial development for the single person and, thus, for the whole society.
• everything that can help to obtain freedom, health and social, physical, spiritual and cultural progress.
